Utilifeed Partners with Leading European Entities in the TRAINING Project for Advanced District Heating Solutions

We are excited to announce our collaboration with esteemed European partners in the TRAINING project, an innovative initiative funded by The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership).

The CETPartnership aims to empower the clean energy transition and contribute to the EU’s goal of becoming the first climate-neutral continent by 2050, by pooling national and regional RDTI funding required to make the transition.

This project aims to revolutionize thermal energy storage and digitalization in district heating, steering towards renewable, resource-efficient energy systems.

The TRAINING project is a collaborative effort, combining the strengths of academic, research, and industrial sectors from Norway, Sweden and Germany. Utilifeed, with its expertise in intelligent energy management and advanced machine learning methods, is a key contributor to this transformative project.

TRAINING Project Overview and Collaborative Efforts

  • Joint Methodologies: Alongside our partners, Utilifeed is developing methodologies to assess and optimize thermal storage potentials in District Heating (DH) systems.
  • Advanced Smart DH Systems: Utilifeed's role involves designing an intelligent management system for smart DH systems. This system integrates data and employs sophisticated machine learning techniques for efficient resource management and utilization of thermal storage.
  • Collaborative Digital Twin Development: The project features the creation of a digital twin for DH systems, a joint effort that underscores Utilifeed's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
  • Impactful Partnerships: Utilifeed's collaboration includes notable partners like NTNU, Fraunhofer Institute, Högskolan Dalarna, Asplan Viak, Absolicon, Smartplace, and Norsk Energi. This diverse consortium brings together unparalleled expertise in energy systems, digital technology, and renewable energy.
